Raised by Kate Mungoven in Tasmania. We sent Kate our Brian’s Choice in its early years and she sent us back a couple of seedlings that she had bred from it. We always knew that Brian’s Choice would have a big impact in future breeding programs and we had been trying to breed a black dec without much success. To Kate’s credit, she has bred the best black small decorative dahlia that we have seen and it has been a great addition to our patch.
