Bonaventure is a giant formal decorative dahlia bred by Bob Simon and first released in America in 1982. Golden-bronze tones, with broad petals that curve back toward the stem for depth. I have seen some amazing blooms of this one in photos overseas but we haven’t been able to replicate them as good here.
