Raised by Alf Hardingham, we believe in 2020 or 21. We were lucky enough to purchase a pack or 12 tubers of Alf’s 3rd and 4th year seedlings after his passing in 2023. The deal was if you find a good one amongst them that you were free to name it yourself. This one was the best one from the pack and we decided to name it in Alf’s honour. We feel very fortunate to have known Alf Hardingham.
